About SAT (Reasoning Test)<\/p>\n

Formerly Known as Scholastic Aptitude Test and Scholastic Assessment Test is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States, which Measure Verbal, Mathematical and Writing Skills.<\/p>\n

The SAT is owned, published, and developed by the College Board, a non-profit organization in the United States, and was once developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).<\/p>\n

Purpose of Examination<\/p>\n

The test intends to primarily aid Undergraduate Schools to assess the potential of the applicants for advanced study. SAT determines whether or not a person is ready for college.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/p>\n

There is no fixed eligibility for taking SAT but primarily students take it when they are in Eleventh or twelfth standard.<\/p>\n

The examination is entirely a paper-based Test. The test is scored on a maximum of 2400. The SAT I score alone cannot guarantee admission into a school – the test is only one of the major factors taken into consideration in the long process of an applicant.<\/p>\n
